The Mary How Film Society needs YOU!
The Mary How Film Society in West Chiltington Village Hall is the oldest established cinema for charity in West Sussex, and the only one with all proceeds going to charity.

There is now an exciting opportunity for local film lovers to play a part in organising the Mary How Film Society.
Do you enjoy movies? Would you like to join the Film Society committee and help to select hit films to screen in West Chiltington on the 4th Tuesday of every month?
We are looking for 3 to 6 people to take on the role of coordinating the Mary How Film Society, and we hope that this might be you!
When it was established in the mid-1990s by a group of local film enthusiasts who wanted to bring great films into the heart of the community, the Mary How Film Society was a pioneer.
Where they led, others followed and film nights are now a popular fixture in village halls everywhere.

The Mary How Film Society is still a trailblazer, for it offers a first class cinema experience: the films are screened in professional 35mm, with Dolby sound, in a carpeted auditorium.
The audiences show their appreciation by snapping up tickets to the monthly screenings as soon as they go on sale.
Organising the film screenings is enjoyable - from booking and publicising the films, looking after the accounts, to selling the tickets and welcoming audiences to the screenings.
There is something to appeal to everyone who enjoys getting involved in community events - with 100% of the proceeds coming to the Mary How Trust for Cancer Prevention, your local charity.
