BE SAFE IN THE SUN
Exposure to the damaging ultraviolet light of the sun can result in permanent damage to the skin and skin cancer. Even cloudy days can let enough ultraviolet rays through to cause damage.
Skin cancer is one of the UK’s most common cancers – and the number of cases is increasing each year.

However, sunlight does have some benefits:
10 minutes in the sun will help provide us with our daily requirement of vitamin D.
And recent research suggests that UVB radiation from sunlight may help reduce the risk of certain cancers such as breast, ovarian, colon, stomach and prostate cancers.
Moderation is the key.
