Organise A Fundraising Event

 A great way to get started is to choose something you enjoy and are good at: you already have the know-how and contacts to get started. A golf or tennis competition for example, or a music evening - or a bake-off!

 Or think about an activity you'll be doing anyway – for example a tea party, a friendly match, an afternoon of bridge. By adding a raffle and inviting donations, you'll raise money for a great cause while enjoying the company of your great friends.

 Get your colleagues, friends or neighbours involved - they can offer moral support as well as practical help in the planning.
